Over the last six months we’ve packed the van, loaded the griddles, and travelled across South Wales to some fantastic markets and events. From busy town centres to local food festivals, every market has been a chance to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces, and share what we love doing.
One of the best parts of attending markets is seeing people come back to our stall and tell us they’ve been thinking about our Welshcakes since the last event. Those conversations, recommendations and returning customers mean more to us than you probably realise.
Markets have also given us the opportunity to experiment with new flavours, introduce our bagels to new customers, and receive honest feedback that helps us improve. Some of our most popular products today started as something we decided to try at a weekend market.
Running a small business isn’t always easy. There are early starts, long days and plenty of preparation behind the scenes, but every event reminds us why we do it. Seeing people enjoy our food makes all the hard work worthwhile.
